Compensation and Benefits Specialist
St. Coletta of Greater Washington is hiring a full-time Compensation and Benefits Specialist.
Job Duties:
- Ensuring that all compensation practices comply with current legislation (e.g. human rights, pay, equity, etc.)
- Designing a comprehensive benefits package to meet the needs of a changing workforce.
- Evaluating the costs and benefits of wellness programs, life and long-term care insurance, and employee assistance programs.
- Evaluating job positions for classification, status and salary requirements.
- Conducting ongoing research about emerging trends as well as best practices
- Advising management on resolving benefits issues.
- Building and maintaining relationships with health and retirement plan providers.
- Assisting employees by explaining benefits and appealing decisions made by insurance companies.
Job Requirements
Master’s degree in Business, Management, Communications or other related field. Must have knowledge of Budgeting and Financial Management.
