WELCOME TO THE 2007 - 2008 SCHOOL YEAR !
Dear Parents and Guardians:
Welcome to all – those new to us and those returning to the fold. New parents, we look forward in the coming year to learning about you and your children. Thank you for entrusting them to our care.
Returning parents, thank you for helping us successfully complete our first year of service as St. Coletta of Greater Washington and the St. Coletta Special Education Public Charter School. All of our students, parents, guardians, staff and community stakeholders had a role to play in insuring that first year ran smoothly and you did it brilliantly.
Last year we all learned about our new environment and about our new students and families. This wondrous facility provides space for our staff to operate many exciting programs including: art, music, hydrotherapy and horticulture-all outstanding experiential learning opportunities. With our parents/guardians as our partners, we were able to form the first St. Coletta Parent-Teacher Organization.
As we begin our second year of service in the District of Columbia, we will have said “good-bye” to ten graduates and will welcome some new students and their families to St. Coletta. It is an honor to serve all of your children and you, and it is a privilege to be able to do so in a facility that continues to allow us to be the very best at what we do. We look forward to another year in which we all learn and grow together.
