New Partnerships Jun 27, 2017

Our students have been busy with their career-based training in the community. We’re excited to announce that our vocational program has expanded and we now have a partnership with Atlas Performing Arts Center, the Hill Center, and DC United. With these new sites, our students enjoy a wide range of vocational tasks that keep them engaged and integrated in the community.

At the Atlas Performing Arts Center, Senior students have the opportunity to join the staff in welcoming community members to the show, helping them navigate the elevators, and handing out programs when entering the theater.
The Hill Center offers an exciting array of vocational tasks for our students, including keeping this historical building looking great and helping daily events run smoothly.

Our neighbors at RFK have also provided a great collaboration. DC United incorporates our students’ love of sports, with enhancing vocational skills. They keep things tidy and ready to go for the players and have fun while doing it.
We are very excited about our new partnerships and for the growth of our vocational program, and proud to see our students grow.

With each bit of career-based training, our students are continuing to reach their full potential and ultimately becoming as independent as possible. Thanks to our new partners!
